Trinity Church choir, conducted by Mr W. J. Gemmell. with Miss E, Hartley at Hie organ, presented a programme" of carols and other Chriotmas pieces after the service last night, and thereby gave much pleasure to a very large congregation. In the 'Adeste Fidehs' the solo parts were sung by Miss Violet Barth, Mjss Rayment, .Mr E. Drake, and Mr W. Watters. Mr Drake's pure tenor voice was heard in two 'Messiah' numbers-- ' Thy Eebuke' and ' Behold and See.' Miss Barth sang ' 0 Divine Redeemer,' and took part with Mr Drake in ' Love Divine,' from Stainers 'Daughter of Jairus.' Mr GemmeU's song was 'Nazareth.' Mr W. W. Crawford presented a Christmas monologue. Master A. Geddes sang' Sleep, Holy Babe.' The carols by the full choir were nicely sung, and the 'Hallelujah chorus' wound rip an inspiring service. The Roslyri Methodist choir held their annual carol service laet night, when the church was crowded. Owing to the unavoidable absence of the conductor (Mr J. Paterson), the choir was conducted by Mr A. Sunderland. The following items were given :—' The Holy Shrine,' Mr F. H. Taylor; 'To the Angels,' Miss M. L. Esquilant; 'The Holy City' (cornet eolo), Mr R. Bracefieldj 'lf With All Your Hearts/ Mr J. Simpson; 'Peace on Earth,' Mrs J. Lowe and choir; 'Watchman, What of the Night?' Messrs T. Banchop and F.
