A representative meeting of the British Medical Association, by 182 to 21, rejected the Government's terms, and resolved, until a uniform scheme is adopted, to recommend the treatment of those insured conditionally on the latter having a free choice of doctor, either on a cavitation basis of a minimum of 8s 6d per annum, inclusive of drugs, or on an attendance basis at a minimum of 2s 6d a visit, such minimum not to include tuberculous ratients.
