SYDNEY, December 23. (Received December 23, at 8.5 a.m.) The State Premier (Mr M'Gowen) has declined Lady Denman's request for two small tables at Government House as a keepsake. The Government Architect reported that the tables are unique and of priceless value, being evidently the workmanship of the Louis, XV. or XVI. period.
