Taviuni, s.s., leaves to-night for the W r est Coast via ports. Flora, s.s., leaves on Thursday for the West Coast via ports. Waipori, s.s., leaves to-night for Greymouth direct to load timber for Melbourne and Sydney. Kotare, s.s., sails this evening for Invercargill, Riverton, and Catlins. John, s.s., arrived this morning with 120,000 ft of white pine from Wanganui direct. She sails .to-morrow afternoon for Wanganui via ports. PERSONALIA. Mr J. D. Paull, third officer of the T;;viii:ii, joins the Waipori to-day in a : similiar capacity. Mr A. W. Beardsall, third officer of the .Maitai, relieves Mr Paull as third officer of the Taviuni. Mr Thorpe, second officer of the Taviuni, who goes on holiday leave, will bo relieved by Mr Blomfield,"third of the Waipori. Mr 11. A. Scales joins the Kowhai today at Wellington as chief officer.
