SUICIDE BY SHOTGUN.

ELTHAM, November 18. A carpenter named Candish, aged 45 committed suicide by shooting himself with a shotgun this morning. His wife was startled by the shot, and discovered Wood coming under the bathroom door. Tho police were communicated with, forced the door, and found the man dead in a pool of blood with a gun by his eide. The cause of the deed is unknown. Candish leaves a widow and four children.
