I am writing at once, eo that you may get the acknowledgment as promptly as possible, to thank you veiy sincerely, and through you your readers, for the great generosity in forwarding this donation. Ii has arrived at an opportune time, and it wiii enable me to provide 12.000 meals. The distress is something appalling, and wo are hard put to it to meet the demands upon us. Buo despite this we eball pull through, and make the conditions of Labor in England at least as good as, if not better than, in the southern Dominion.
