Under a forced draught for several hours she attained a maximum of 28.4 knots. Her consumption of coal was below the estimate. The fact that her speed is in excess of Iter predecessors is the more remarkable owing to an alteration that had been made for introducing a stability of keel to prevent rolling. Germany is equipping her airships with machine guns.
