OUR TOURING TEAMS.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir.—Mr Cavanagh is to lie complimented on his selection of the Otago touring teams. To be sure, the Southern Club r.'-av have some caus?, for romplaint, as they won the. premiership this rear, and yet are only able to get nine men in: Dashing young forwards like Armour and Duncan may be, good enough for a mete goldticlds team, but scarcely a draw for an important tour. Possibly, when they have learned a few " wrinkles," they may bo recognised as worthy a place in an Otigo fust fifteen. In conclusion, it is to be hoped that if a;iy of the chosen team are unable to make the trip, their places may be filled by membrrs of the Southern team. Didn't they win the flag? And the team that beat the' Varsity should be (|uitc competent to bring home the RiKrrBLY Shielii. Auinist 26.
