MR BRYCE'S FAREWELL.

SOME IMPRESSIONS. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, August 24. (Received August 24, at 9.45 a.m.) In an interview before his departure by the Ventura to-day Mr Bryce expressed his admiration for the Australian physique. He* saw no sign of decadence about it whatever. He considers the capitals of Australia amongst the most beautiful cities in the world, and he, especially admires the National Park. As far as type is concerned, he thinks the Australians are much nearer to the English than to the Americans: they are much less like the American type than lie expected. The cheerful aspect of the. suburbs had struck him, as it also had done in New Zealand.
