«. Loyal Leith Lodge held their fortnightly meeting on Monday evening in ike lodge room, "Albany street, when N.G. Bro. J. Faigan presided. The attendance was very poor, a fact which does not .add to the encouragement of the officers. After ihe routine brorinesa had been disposed of several matters of interest to the lodge and tho Order were brought und?r review. One candidate was proposed, and tho prospects for adding very materially to the numerical strength of the lodge in the immediate future are very bright. P.G. Bro. T. E. Eosevear (Unity) and Bro. ■Easie (St. Hilda) replied to the visitors' vote. Tha bi-weekly meeting of the Loyal Maori Hill Lodge was held on Tuesday night in the. lodge room, Lothian street. Bro. J. M'Donald, N.G., presided. Business of a routine nature was transacted. An invitation io vi«t Linden Lodge on the occasion of their anniversary social was accepted.
