PERSONAL.
The Rev. J. Perkins, vicar of Kurow, has been aonointed vicar of P'linstan, in succession,to'the Rev. W. A. R._ Fitchctt, who takes charge of the parish of Roslyn. Timarii Presbytery have nominated the Row A. Cameron as Moderator of the General Assembly in 1912. At Timaru on Tuesday evening an address was presented to the Very Rev. Dean Tubman congratulating him on the comjdoltiou of the new Roman Catholic Church there. Piuses from several organisations, containing totally over £7OO, wer(! presented to him. The dean said he would devote these gifts towards the purchase of a £I.OOO organ and other requisites. Mr W. Gray, M.A., principal of the Wellington Training College, has been appointed principal of the Presbyterian Ladies' College, Melbourne.. He commences his new duties next February. Mr Justice Williams propose.? to leave for the Court of Appeal on Saturday morning.
