THIS SEASON’S RUGBY.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —Much has been said about the Otago team in general. If it is not asking too much, could you publish the results of matches played and won by the other big provinces as compared with Otago, for, after all is said and done, 1 think those who helped to pull our selector to pieces will see that he has come out of the ordeal with considerable credit.—l am, etc.. Blue Suitoktkr. October 3. [Auckland were undefeated throughout the season, and Taranaki lost only to Auckland. Otago’s record is the best of the South Island teams, and as they drew with Wellington they have only to play "second fiddle” to the two champion North Island teams. —Ed. E.S.]
