A schoolgirl named Weir, on returning home from school at Kidsgrove (Staffordshire), found her mother (tho widow of a colliery manager), her sister (aged four), mid the servant girl with their heads horribly battered in and stabbed to death. Thirty (winds in money had been stolen. Two tramps axe suspected.
