WATERSIDE WORKERS. ■ [Pee United Press Association.] ■ WELLINGTON, October 4. 1 The New Zealand Federation of Water' side Workers and the Wellington Waterside Workers’ Union have given notice to manufacturers and shippers of cement and lime that on and after Ist January next no cement will be handled unless enclosed in casks or in paper-lined bags; also that all ships’ holds must be thoroughly cleansed and fumigated before the men begin work.
