A SAD ENDING.

A woman about 40 years of age. giving tba name of Wilson, and who stated that she had just arrived front New Zealand, took a room at the Town Hall Coffee Palace on Friday night. Tho next morning she was found in bed with her throat fatally cut. It was apparently a determined case of suicide. A bank book showing that a deposit of £l7 had been made in the Government Savings Bank on Friday in the name of Mary Wilson -was among the woman's effects. The deceased wore a wedding ring and glasses. SYDNEY. August 7. (Received August 7. at 9.15 a.m.) Wilson, it is said, arrived by the Maheno on Friday, but her name is not included in the passenger list.
