It is reported that Mexican fire-fighters are known deliberately to have spread the flames in order to ensure their employment in lire-fighting. The UriTted State* Federal Government have filed a suit against the Michigan-South-ern Chesapeake-Ohio and other Ohio railroads and coal companies, charging them with combination to restrain trade. The French Estimates for 1912 show an increase of £7,000,000 as compared with thoso for 1911. Since May 245 cases of cholera have broken out at Constantinople, with 126 deaths. The Antarctic ship Aurora Iras left Cardiff.
