THE MISSING MAN.
[Pes Unite .•> Press* Association.] MASTBRTON, .August 7. Over 100 townsfolk organised and conducted a systematic search for tho missing man James Kingdou yesterday. Various parties searched a. large area of the town, but the search proved fruitless. A cap was found on the bank of the Waipoua River, and one of tho missing man's sisters expressed the opinion that this belonged to her brother. Young men who went to Carterton with. Kingdon, however, aver that this was not the cap worn by him. The local police participated in the search.
