(Received August 5, at 8.5 a.m.) Trw Democratic Cotton Tariff Bill, which received the support of the insurgent Republican Senators, was carried by an oner whelming majcrity in the House of Representative*. The Bill cuts the tariff on cotton maimfa-cMirffd goods from. 48 to 27 per cent, ad valorem. The Democrats arm planning to cam their Wool Bill over tb* Presidential veto by wearing the necessary f>enatcrial majority.
