INSPECTION OF CADETS.
Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, August 4. (Received August. 5, at 12.55 p.m.) Earl Roberts iu.vpccted the Commonwealth Cadets at the Crystal Palace to-day. The Field Marshal commended the smartiws of the boys' uniforms and the precision with which they handled their arms. He presented Sir Charles Wakefield's Cup for shooting at Bis ley, also handed to Cadet Wynne his (the- Field Marsha!'?) own nwlal, and each boy with his autograph photo and a signed copy of his book ' Forty Years in India." Cadet Wynne, on behalf of tho boy.*, presented the Earl with an inkstand made out of Broken Hill silver and mounted on Australian hardwoods.
