Profewor M'Millan Brown, of Christchurch, has returned from his visit to the Solomon Islands. As a result of his invostigatiotii; he i 6 of opinion that the Solomons are the key to the question of the. peopling of the Pacific. The presence of a type of European faces among tho natives shows that a light-haired European race bad at one time gone into the Pacific.
