PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to the provisions of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908," that on TUESDAY, the first day of August, 1911, the St. Kilda Borough Council will, at a SPECIAL MEETING of the said Council, to be held at the Council Cluunbers at lia.lf-p.ut 7 o'clock in the afternoon of that day, confirm a special resolution intended to operate as a Special Order passed afc a Special Meeting of the Council on TUESDAY, the twenty-seventh day of June, 1911, in the following terms—namely: RESOLVED, that in pursuance of the powers and provisions contained in part 42 of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908," and of all other powers in them by law vested, the Council of the Borough of St. Kilda ordains by way of sp;cial order as follows—that is to say: 1. Clause 23 of By-law No. 6, in respect of waterworks, shall be and the same is hereby repealed. 2. The foljowluff By-law, to bo called Clause No. 28 of By-law No. 6, and intended to bo in substitution for the said Clause 28 hereinbefore repealed, is hereby adopted in and for the said Borough of St. Kilda, and for and on behalf of the Corporation of the Borough of St.' Kilda : CLAUSE. PURSUANT to the provisions of Section 8 of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908." Public Noiicc is Hereby Given that at a meeting of the West. Harbor Borough Council, held on the 41 hj day of July, 191.1, the Council resolved, subject to the approval of the ratepayers, to take steps to raise a Special Loan "of £I,OOO, to be applied to the Construction of Footpaths anrl Improving existing Roads and Footnaths in St. Leonards Ward, £750, and Additions to the Public Hail in St. Leonards Ward. The security for the said Loan will be the revenue of the Borough and the site and buildings known as the Town Hall, Rothesay.
