ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS.
The man Douglas, reported to be missing from Waipiro Kay (Auckland), is William Douglas, n i hepherd. It is feared that he was drowned in attempting to cross the. Waipiro River, which was in high flood. His horse was found close by. A man named Buchanan, an inmate of the Salvation Army Home, committed suicide last night by cutting hia throat with a razor.—Christchurch. James Jardine, of Brydone, sustained a fracture of the leg at Wyncfham on Wednesday by colliding with an opposing Gore player in a- loose scrum.
