DUNEDIN FANCIERS’ CLUB.
The above dub’s annual show will be held in Side-’? Buildings, corner of Crawford and Police streets, and opposite the Agricultural Hall and Thomson and Co.'s premises, on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. August 3. 4. and 5. The showpromises to be unique, as a record entry has been received, and champion dogs, poultrv. pi croons, and canaries are competing from as far north as Auckland and as far south as Riverton. Mr T. E. Watson’s champion bulldog Greenstone will bo again on. exhibition. The bulldog entry numbers 40, and, it is stated, constitutes a record. A verv large entry has been received in the pigeon section, and a record entrv, in rats and children’s pets. This latter section alwars provides a verv interesting exhibition, and <mn« verv fine, as well as verv quaint, exhibitions are to be seen in this section Mr J. B. Hayne is making a social .exhibition of Persian cats. The committee have decided to have the cats and children’s pets on exhibition for two dav? instead of one this year. The club have secured excellent premises for the show.
