OTAGO WINTER SHOW.

Samples of the choicest products of farm, run, and orchard have been coming to Dunedin all the week, and by Monday night the Otago Agricultural and Pastoral Society’s new buildings will bo about full of exhibits for tho Winter Show that is to open on Tuesday afternoon. Fat cattle and sheep will probably make an exceptionally tine display, and a spurt is promised by the curers of ham and bacon, in which lines tho competition has in tho past been somewhat limited. Tho Technical Schools exhibition and the City Corporation’s show of electrical appliances aro <***.* "ally occupying a downstairs apartment that was formerly the offices. A half-ton cheese, made at the Wyndham Dairy Factory, has come to band. It is to be cut up and sold undeu the same conditions as in former years. Mr Vealo, of Roxburgh, is to show in operation a foot-power milking machine, and for this purpose two cows are to be milked each day. in a special byre.
