AN ASYLUM ON FIRE. 20 PATIENTS KILLED. MINERS AND POLICE IN CONFLICT. [Delaykp ix Transmission.] Press Association-—By Telegraph—Copyright. NEW YORK, July 25. The main buildings of the State Asylum for the Feeble-minded at Wichita (Kansas) were gutted by fire. Some of the patients escaped, but it is believed thtit a score wete burned to death. A riot amonig the miners at the Mansfield mine, Pittsburg. w;u> qnelled by a large force of police. A score of persons were injured, many fatally. Tho cause of the riot is undisclosed. " Bobbie" Leach, attempted to cross the Horseshoe Falls (Niagara) encased in a barrel, but the police prevented him.
