Jo-day. Lambs. —2,050 yarded, a good yarding for the time of the year.' Freezing buyers were operating at late limits, and consequently the market remained unchanged. Sheep.—2,66o yarded, a full yarding, including some extra prime heavyweight withers. Freezing buyers offered late rates, but butchers bid more, requiring stock for window display during Show Week. Quotations:— Kxtra wethers, to 40s 3d ; heavy-weight to 225. extra to 21s; medium, 18s (id to 20s 6d ; others, 16s (id to 18s. There ■ were, only a few ewes forward, and these sold at a slight advance on hit.:rates. Cattle.—-140 yarded, a short yarding. Competition was keen for prime heavyweight bullocks.
