Tim annual meeting of the above club was held on Friday evening, when there was a, now) muster of member?. Mr Hancock (the president) was in the chair, and in moving the adoption of the report and balance-sheet cxDnjrra-t.ula.twl members on having enjoyed a very .successful season and on the excellent prospects for the coming year. The following officers were elected : President, Mr J. 11. Hancock; vice-presi-dents—Messrs A. Macpherson and A. K. llobson ; secretary and treasurer. Mr YV. V. Kingston ; delegates to centre—Messrs Pop*; and Hancock : sole selector, Mr W. R. Piddington. Strong committees were ele-cted to carry out the various works in connection with the club. rt M-nji resolved--" That the . Inb are not in favor of the four-rink championship being held ; that December 27 is the most suitable day for the opening of the association tournament.: that the. principle embodied in the Daylight. Saving Bill be approved of: t-hat the club favor the keeping of Anniversary Day (March 25) as a public holiday. - ' A vote of thanks to the chairman rioted the meeting.
