DUNEDIN ANGLICAN CHAMPIONSHIP. The club's seventh annual Three-mile Championship was contested at TahunaPark on Saturday. Tho first mile and a-quartar w?s run on the track, which was muddy and decidedly heavy. Leaving Tahiina at Anderson Bay corner, the trail led across the Drainage Board's property, passing the pumping station and pigeonshooting sheds, continuing round the Musselburgh School, back to Tahuna, the last half-mile being negotiated on the track. Notman ran in an easy vvinneT by 50yd6 from Breen, who in turn was 50yds ahead of Dunn. Hill finished fourth, Grind ley fifth, and M'Kenzie 6ixth. Smith for officiating and also to tho A. and P. Society for use of the track. "WEEKLY RUNS. St. Joseph's Harriers ran on Saturday from the Mornington School to the Green Island reservoir, coming home via the Lower Kaikorai Valley. The club at a special meeting appointed Mi J. Swansoa delegate to the Otago Centre, N.Z.A.A.A., in place of Mr Gallon resigned. Pacific Club members ran from St. Clair Baths towards Green Island and back. The run took the form of a paper chase, the whistle being dispensed with. Y.M.C.A. and Corstorphine Harriers combined ran from Green Island School along the coastline to near the St. Clair caves. The Civil Service held their rim from the residence of Mr Lucy, one of the club's vice-presidents. The bags were placed in the hands of Messrs A. Melville and V. Evans, ami they laid a good trail down through Norman by and up on to the slopes cf Mount Cargill. Coming round towards the Leith Valley, the trail branched off near the Pine Hill School and clown the hill home. After justice had been done to a splendid table laid by Mr and Mrs Lucy the president of the club (Mr Andrews) returned thanks on behalf of the members. " The St. Kilda Harriers ran from 61 Park terrace, Kensington, as gueste of Mr A. Graham. Jack Henderson and A. Wilson had control of tha paper, and led a trail along Maitland street, over Monteciilo, round by the Mornington car sheds, along Eglinton road, and after cutting down into Kaikorai Valley made tracks home by way of Maryhill terrace. The captain moved a hearty vote of thanks to the host and hostess for attentions in the evening.
