£4,000 TOPPED. HANDSOME CHINESE DONATION. On account of the cold weather yesterday the Harbor excursion in aid of the •women's ward fund was not patronised as well as was hoped, anly 2 9s being taketi. To this amount the directors of the I'enineeala Ferry Company, who ran the boat free of charge, have generously added £2 16s, 60 as to make the total from the excursion five guineas.
