Hie following cable has been despatched to the London office of the Waihi Company :—No. 4 level, Royal lode, west of No.' 5 shaft, crosscut, 10ft driven, 2s rxl per ton: Edward lode, south from perch crosscut, next 20ft driven 6s per ton, next 10ft £3 10s per ton; Reptile 60uth-east crosscut, 40ft driven; level No. 10, crosscut north from No. 5 shaft, 17ft driven ; level No. 10, have tapped a large quantity of water, level full of water, which will jjjpobaibly stop development for three days.
