Scott (Unity Lodge) also received his three degrees at the same time. The Noble Grand of Pioneer Ijodgo presided over -a good meeting of members on Tuesday owning. Business being linished, the lodge initiated thtw new brothers—C. Purvis anil two other candidates. A singing competition was the feature oi the evening. j Pro. S. Ptidney being in the chair. Judges were appointed, and the prize for sentimental singing was won by P.O. Hro. Duncan, who suitably responded. The comic singing prize was carried off by V.G. Pro. Hicmner. A hearty vote Of thanks to all present was given by the lodge members. Pro. Hreinner acted as accompanist in the absence of the same, and it was decided to hold another competition at a future date.
