TO THE EDITOII. Sir, —Your correspondent was quite rightin bis statement re above in last evening's paper. I was always under the impression that the Gardens was a sanctuary. 1m apparently not so now, seeing that no effort was apparently made to suppress the shoot- . ing, which was confined to such a small j area, and for nearly two hours. B Certainly the practice cun only be charr acterised as a dangerous one to near resi--5 dents.
