AMATEUR ATHLETICS. RESIGNATION OP OTAGO DELEGATES. At a special meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association at Wellington last night Messrs A. Marryatt and J. H. Pollock, tho representatives' of the Otago Centre, handed in their resignations. This action is the outcome of Otago'e resentment of the action of the delegates in voting for Wellington as the place to hold the Australasian championships, contrary to the instructions of the Otago Centre. The Otago Centre passed a resolution revoking the appointment of Messrs Marryatt and Pollock as delegates, and although the delegates named believe that the Centre has no power to do this, they regard the resolution as a vote ot want-of-confidenco, and prefer to resign-. The resignations were accepted, and the delegates thanked for their services to amateur athletics. BARRY-FOGWELL MATCH.
