IRRIGATION OF POOLBURN VALLEY.
[From Our Own Reforteb.] LAWRENCE. May 25. Tho Hon. R. M'Kenzio elates that survevors are now at work preparing plans as to* the levels, etc., of the big irrigation scheme in the valley of tho l'oolburn. and he hopes that tho preparations will bo so far advanced during the winter as to enable the constructive works to be started in the coming spring.
