Mr George French, postmaster at Mokoi, near Tattpo, died suddenly on Saturday night from heart disease. Ho was fiftyeight years of age. Mr J. P. Lane, for many years manager for the Citizens' Life Assurance Company in Wellington, died at Perth, West Australia, after a short illness. Mr Lane, who was forty-two yeors of asre, had been in charge of tho company's West Australian business. Ho left a widow and three children. A Oreymoulh message states that the death occurred last evening of Mr Lilly Joseph Williams, fourth f.on of tho lato Mr and Mrs Ilanwell Williams, both of whom dietl within the last fortnight. Mr Williams for f.omo time was West Coast traveller for Kempthorne, Pressor, and Co., and gave up the position to take over his father's chemist business in Greymoulh along with his brother.
