Tho N.Z.F.A. held their annual meeting at Wellington last night, Mr H. N. Holmes presiding. Tho Chairman spoke of tho progress of tho game and its increasing popularity, mentioning that 225 teams wero playing under tho auspices of the Association. The following office-bearers were elected: —Patron, Lord Islington; president, Sir Joseph Ward; vioo-presidents— Messrs F. J. Courtenay, S. W. Thornton, and P. L. Davies, with two from each affiliated Association ; trustees —Messrs 11. N. Holmes, F. J. Courtenay, and J. J. Roberts; lion, treasurer, Mr J. M. Oilier; lion, secretary, Mr B. L. Salmon; lion, representative to the Football Association, Ltd., Mr A. E. Gibbs (London) ; hon. auditor, Mr A. G. Rarnett. The offer of Messrs Pott it and Dudley, of Palmerston North, to present a cup, valued at ten guineas, for competition under cup tie rules, was accepted, the trophy to be called tho New Zealand Association Football Cup, tiio competition to commence this year if possiblo, and the final to bo played at Palmerston if convenient. Tho question of tho New South Wales tour was left in the hands of tho Council.
