LONDON, April 29. In accordance with Sir E. Grey's forecast in the House of Commons on March 8, and the rescript read by Lord fdorley in the House of Lords on March 22, Sir E. Grrey-has. applied .to the Persian Government for ah' option to construct a railway from tho Khormnsa Inlet through Ahwaz and Shunter to Khoramabad, in tho region which Great Britain and Russia stood upon as a neutral zone. The scheme would enable British goods intended for Persia, instead of entering Turkish territory, to go direct to Khormusa, and thenco along a British line linked with Russia's projected KhanikinTeheran railway.
