Th« fortnightly meeting of Miriam Rebekah Lodge was held in the hall, Ken■ington, on Mondav evening. There was a good attendance, Iv.G. Bis. M'Neil presiding. The business being disposed of, the loafp adjourned to Leith Lodca, where they were entertained by the broihers, and spent a most enjoyable evening. Loytl Leith Lodge held their fortnightly meeting on Monday evening in the hall, Albany street. N.G. Bro. Ripley presided. She bS&cm and members of St. Kilda {<odge visited officially. The lodge met fcah »*» i*B earlier than usual, and transacted necessary business, then closed to entertain sisters of Rebekah lodges and members of other subordinate male lodges. Before doing so the toast of the visitors wa» honored, and responded to by D.D.G.M. Bro. W. Smith (on behalf of the District Lodge), P.G. Bro. W. Kilpatrick (Pioneer), and N.G. Bro. Gannon (St. Kilda), after which the lodge was declared open, and many other visiting brothers and the sisters of Rebekah lodges and friends were welcomed. A vejy enjoyable game of cards followed, after which light refreshments were handed round. During the evening Bro. Scott (Leith Lodge) rendered several pianoforte selection!. Loyal Maori Hill Lodge held their fortnightly meeting on Tuesday In the lodge room, Ward's Hall, Lothian street, Bro. R. H. Scott, N.G., presiding. After business had been transacted a pleasant game of cards was indulged in. P.G. Bro. Swinton (Unity) responded to the vote to the viaitorf.
