(Received January 26, at 8.15 a.m.) John Drost, a. farm hand, slmt his father dead. When arrested at Xorthhend, Washington Stale, he said: “I shot him because I am Americanised. If we had sUll lived in Holland I would, not have done, it, but here is the greatest country on earth, and no jury will convict me when 1 tell them my motive.” A daughter, in attempting to save her father, was badly wounded.
