FULLERS’ PICTURES. The I‘rinces.s Theatre was packed last night, and money had to be turned away. A groat programme is announced for this evening. The eye is arrested at onco by two of the tiUes, ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and ‘Carbine.’ Both will prove wonderfully attractive, the former liecau.se it is one of the most beautiful stories ever written, and the other because it is—well, Carbine. During his turf career in Now land and Australia Carbine started on fortythree occasions, won thirty-three races, and won in stakes the total sum of £29,467. The grand old Now Zealand horse will he seen enjoying the well-earned rest of his life in the luxury of the estate of the Duke of Portland, who purchased him from Air Wallace, the original owner, for 13,000 guineas. This interesting film has been especially cincmatographcd for Messrs John Fuller and Sons. These Alms will not by any moans exhaust the programme. ALHAMBRA THEATRE. Tho vaudeville entertainment at the ADrambra Theatre finds much favor in the eves of the public. This is only to bo expected, for the faro provided is of the very best. Last night Jules and Marzon (the English athletes), Georgo Dean, Mabel Lynne, Jones and Williams, and Farrell and Gaffney (who appeared for the last time) were enthusiastically received. The place of the last-mentioned pair will be taken this evening by Carlton and Sutton (patter comedians). HAYWARDS’ PICTURES. The interest in the star film at the Burns Hail —‘ Uncle Tom’s Cabin ’ —shows no sign of abatement. Tho intensity of this remarkable dram* is enhanced by the singing of tho old plantation melodies and by Miss Hayward’s vocal solos. After this moving story has been told it is a welcome change to have an amusing film screened in ‘The Man-haters’ Club.’ 'Hiis picture provoked much laughter. The programme will be given again tills evening.
