THE MISSION OF HELP.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—Will you allow me to put forward a e[ingestion to those who axe grateful to tbe Rev. J. C. Fitzgerald and the Rev. T. Rces for their help and teaching during the late mission. One of the most important of the many works carried on by the Community of the Resurrection is the training of young men for the priesthood who have vacation but no means. The College of the Resurrection was founded at Alirncld for this purpose in 1902, and there are now sixtyfour students under preparation. Of theso twenty-three are in residence at Leeds, talcin? their Arts course at the University, and to"provide for tlum it has been found nccessav to build a hostel there. This was opened last April, and though money has been given generously to defray the cost, a considerable debt on the building still remains. To help to extinguish this debt would be a very practical way of showing our gratitude to the Community and our sympathy with their work. If everyone who feels drawn to give would contribute Is, a good sum might be raised in Dunedin for the hostel building fund. Larger donations could, of course, be given if desired. Those who may wish to seud larger sums direct to Mirtield can have the address of tho treasurer from me at any time, or I shall be very £lad to forward all contributions entrusted to me for that purpose. I need hardly add that the brethren of the Community who are now in New Zealand know nothing of this letter.—l am. etc., (Miss) Agnes Hill Jack. Roslyn, December 6.
