The -removal of passenger accommodation and the conversion of the Flora, which is laid up at Port Chalmers, into a collier, is expected to take place shortly. The Rakanoa is due for periodical overhaul at Port Chalmers, and the Koonya has yet to complete her survey there. The Kainona, which was to leave Westport to-day for Lytteiton and Wellington, will undergo survey at Wellington. Tarawera, 6.5., arrived at 10.30 a.m. today from Auckland and way ports. Her cargo included a number of cases of ' apples, dried fruits, bananas, oranges, and 503 bag 6of potatoes. To-morrow she sails at 4 pjn. on the return voyage, Ennerdale, s.s.. from Huon and Port Espexance, was sighted from Cape Saunders this morning, and was expected to berth at Dnnedin"in the afternoon.

Pukaki, 6.5., is to leave Westport on Saturday for Timaru, Oamaru, and Dunedin, aril is dne here about Wednesday. Hawkes Bay, 6.5., from Liverpool via ports, is expected to leave Lyttelton on Saturday, and to arrive here on Sunday. She has 1,100 tons of cargo for Dunedin. Corinna, s.s., leaves Wellington next Wednesday for Akaroa to tender excnrsiofriets from the Mararon to the jetty. She comes direct to Ihinedin from Akaroa, arrives on the- 17th, and sails next day for the North. The Pukaki will call at "Nelson next week instead of the Corinna. Snowdonian, 6.5.. was expected to have the Wellington portion of her cargo of jarrah discharged to-day. From Dunedin the Snowdonian will so to Newcastle to l'Kid coal for the Philippines. Kaitangatn, 6.6., leaves the Bluff tomorrow for Greymouth to'load timber for Melbourne and Adelaide. Mr J. A. Sutherland, late second officer of the Arahnxa, lias been promote<] to a similar position on the Mokoia. The second officer of the Mokoia (Mr It. J. Tieeves) has come ashore for instructions. Tho Scales liner Clan M'Laren, now at Newcastle, is due at Auckland on Sunday to commence loading in New Zealand. The vessel will proceed to Napier. Lyttelton, Picton, and Wellington, not necessarily in tho order named, arid is to sail from the Dominion before Christmas for Dunkirk, London, and Antwerp.
