MEETINGS AND SOCIALS
CHURCH OF ENGLAND MEN'S SOCIETY. A diocesan, union in connection with the above has been forrred in. Dunedin. At the preliminary meeting, Canon CuraonSiggers presiding, the branches represented were:—St. Matthew's, Dunedin: Canon Curzon-Siggcrs, Lieutenant-oolonel Smyth, Dr WiLiams, Messrs Talboys, Cameron, Grigg, Bush-King, W. A. Curzon-Siggers, Oowder, Husband, and IngTam. Oamaru: Rev. J. S. B-irtlett, Messrs Travis, M'Dougall, Woodward, and Culverhouse. Port Chalmers: Rev. G. C. Blathwayt and Mr Cable. North-east Valley: Rev. H. H. Bedford, Mewis A. and-W. Tyrell, Cohen, Bolton, and Harvey. St. Mary's, ilornrngton: Archdeacon NcQd, Messrs Benthaai, Kerr, and S. P. Mirams. Mosgiel: Mr Neale and Mr Wright. Kaitangata, Balclutha, Riverton, Winton, and Lumsden not being able to send representatives, signified their assent, and requested others to represent them, if necessary. A constitution was adopted, and Archdeacon Neild was elected chairman, Canon Curzon-Siggers diocesan secretary, and Colonel Smyth diocesan treasurer.
