An amnsing incident happened in connection with the dog show at tho Taranaki Agricultural Society's show on Thursday. Someone saw an English setter running about the show grounds, and, thinking it had got away from the dog tent, caught it and fastened it in one of the empty pens. Soon afterwards judging commenced, and when the setters were in the ring the dog was awarded second place. Later in the afternoon the owner was astonished to see iiS dog penned and among the prizewinnera,! as it had not been entered at aIL the man who caught it chained pen which had been provided for a J setter which had been efltjgfed
