FULLERS' PICTURES. Tho Princess Theatre was crowded last night. This is not to bo wondered at, for the current programme is one of the best ever placed before a- Dunedin .audience. The film showing all the incidents of a iion hunt is of extraordinary interest, and the scenic studies are very beautiful. To-night will bo the last chance of witnessing this programme, for there will be a complete change to-morrow. ALHAMBRA THEATRE. Tho new members of tho company now appearing at tho Alhambra, Theatre are capable and conscientious entertainers. ,1. M. West, equilibrist and balancer, is undoubtedly an expert, ami. it is a treat_ to watch him ; Rupert Cuthbert has a '.ins baritone voice, said sings most iutistically; and May Dahlberg, as a se-rio, is in a class of her own. The other members of the company continue to do excellent work, and the performance as a whole is firstrate. Nat. Clifford, owing to sudden illness, has had to terminate his engagement here, and has gone North. lIAYWARDS' PICTURES. There will be no performance to-night,, as the hall is otherwise engaged, but tho programme will be shown to-morrow and Friday. There will be a change on Saturday. WELSH FAIR. The Welsh Fair opened in the. Art Gallcrv Hall yoste'rdav attracted a large number of people last 'night, and good business was done by the stallholders. The fair wdl be open to-night, when in addition to a musical programme there will be numerous competitions. Lovers of wrestling will have an opportunity to witness what should prove a line contest on Monday next, September 12, when .Too Gardiner, the English lightweight, wrestler, and .1. Duify, of Dunedin, teacher of wrestling, will meet for £SO ;i, side at His Majesty's Theatre here. Both men are about lOst. Tho conditions of the. match are that Gardiner undertakes to throw Duffy once in one hour's actual wrestling time" or forfeit the stake. Both men have, deposited £lO. and the remainder of £4O has to bo put in the stakeholder's hands three days Iwfore the contest takes place.
