LODGE MEETINGS

Thf weekly meeting of tin' Lily of the Valley. 1.0.G.T.. was held in Ihe Albany Sired Oddfellows’ jfflll. and t hero _ was a large attendance of members and visitors. Bro. W. R. Morrifon. C.T., presided, and welcomed fraternal visits from Pioneer, Rescue., and Hope of Cavoreham Lodges. 11 was stated the attendance at the rhurrh parade at Trinity Church had been very gratifying, and that the sermon had been much appreciated by those present. Bro. Moore, a visitor from Pioneer Lodge, Wellington, was welcomed, and he conveyed fraternal greetings from tho lodges in that city and from Foxton, Marlborough, Timani, Westport, Greymonth, Denniston, and Soddonville Lodges, lie also spoke of his journoyings on tho West Coast. A programme of entertainment was submitted by members, and refreshments handed round by the sisters. The visitors’ vote was responded to by Bro. U. C. Cameron (sjxxdal deputy. International Supremo Lodge), Sis. C. Cameron (Grand Lodge), Bro. Hilton (District), Bro. M‘Fan-Lane (Pioneer), Bro. Jackson (Rescue), Bro. Porter (Cavereham), Sis. Faithful! (Alliance), and Bro. Moore (Wellington). Short and interesting addresses on the work of tho Order were given by several members and visitors.
