To-day. Fat Cattle.—l 22 yarded. A medium yarding. The quality—well, it must liave made the buyer feel glad—was good : in some eases it was very good. Ami prices were not very high; indeed, they were easier than last week. This latter fact is due to numbers of butchers having bought outside. Quotations: Best bullocks, £ll 10s to £l2 10s; extra to £ls 6s; medium, £lO to £lO 15s; inferior, £8 5s to £9. Best cows and heifers, £9 to £9 ; extra to £10; medium, £6 5s to £7 10s; inferior, £4 15s to £5 10.-;. Fat Sheep.—l,92o yarded. A small yarding. The quality, taken all round, was fair. Prices were easier Dian at the last sale. Quotations: Best wethers (in wool), 25s to 255; extra to 27s 9<l: medium, 21s 6d to 22s 6d; inferior, 19s to 20s, Best shorn wethers, 18s to 19s; extra, 20s Sd; medium, 16s io 17s; inferior, 14,s 6d to 15s 6d ; best shorn ewes. 15s to 17a ; extra to 6d ; medium, 15s to 14s; inferior, 11s 6d to 12s 6d ; heavy woollv wethers from 24s to 27s 9d.
