'Hip. following teamf, have been entered for the Hawko Cup, which was presented for comjxdifion among cricket associations outside of the main centres:—North Taranaki. South Taranaki, Wairarapa, Manawaiu, _ ( ,SonMi Canterbury, and Southland. The Cricket Council have now made a draw as follows : —Wairarapa v. Manawafu, ._Xoii.li v. iSout.li 'J'aranaki, South Canterbury v. Southland. The winner of t\w South Canterbury v. Southland match will have a byo in tho second round. The selection of grounds will be by mutual agreement or by a draw. Matches in the first round must bo played before, January 4. WEDNESDAY FIXTURES. A match will bs played on the Caledonian Ground to-morrow afternoon between teams representing the Grocers and Penrose's Cricket Clubs. The following will represent tho ( jrocrrn :— Ogg, Kennedy, Bennett, Hot/, I'cstieaux, Wilson, ('otter, AYilliams. Davenport, Collar, Morrison, and Sinclair. Tho following will represent Penrose's in a cricket match against (he Crocers on the Caledonian. Ground to-morrow afternoon:—Bennett, llaig, Mason, Kennedy, Meyers, C!e;ir. Nieholls, Turner, Holland, Williams, and Cameron.
