THE BULLFINCH FIND

PROFESSOR DAVID’S BELIEF. THE RUSH~CONTINUES. A NEW TOWNSHIP. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, November 2. (Received November 2, at 9.5 a.m.) Professor David expresses the opinion that the Bullfinch find will prove similar to those at Coolgardie and Boulder. There is. he says, every probability that many valuable deposits will yet be found within the area. PERTH, November 2. The Bullfinch mine has been floated into a company in London, with a capital of £50,000. The rush to secure mining properties throughout the length and breadth of the field is increasing rather than abating. During fifteen days 300 applications were received at the registrar’s office, many of them being for long-abandoned mines, which are now considered worth a thorough testing. Bullfinch has grown into a typical mining township witldn a few weeks. Large stores, with dining rooms and other conveniences, are being erected. A progress committee has been formed, and are taking steps to put life on a civilised basis. The Government are being pressed to extend the railway and water supply to the field.
