BURNSIDE STOCK SALES
To-day. Fab Cattle.—2o2 yarded. A large yarding, consisting for lie greater part of good quality. Prices, crying to the large supply and batchers having bought elsewhere, were easier. The quality for fat bullocks was the best seen in the yards this season. Quotations: Best bullocks, £l2 10s to £l3 10s; extra, to £l6; medium. ICfe to £lO 15s; inferior, £8 10s to £9 ICS; best cows and heifers, £3 to £9 10s; extra, to £11; medium, £7 to £7 10s; inferior, £5 10s to £6 10s. Sheep.—l,7B3 yarded; a small yarding. The quality, taken ail round, was good, and prices were firmer than at last sale. Quotations: Best wethers, 23s 6d to 25a; extra, to 31s 6d; medium, 21s to 22s 6d; inferior, 19s 6d to 20s 6d; best ewes, 2th to 245; medium, 11s to 18s. Lambs. —219 yarded; the largest yarding of the-season, proving an over-supply. Prices were easier to the extent of 2s to 3s. Best lambs brought from 14s 6d to 16s 6d, and medium 12s 6d to 13s 6dL
